Omitec are an approved reseller for the X-Analyser from Warwick Control Technologies. If you would like further information or pricing details, please contact us.
The X-Analyser is a versatile, Windows-based development tool of Controller Area Network (CAN) based systems. The objective of the X-Analyser is to offer to the user; ease-of-use, flexibility, increased performance and more powerful features.
The X-Analyser allows the user to monitor, analyse and log bus data. It also allows CAN transmissions and a host of other facilities.
The Basic Layer 7 protocol view feature allows the user to monitor the CAN bus data in the context of a variety of higher layer protocols (e.g. DeviceNet or CANopen). Higher layer protocol awareness options can be obtained as additional purchases.

Used in conjuction with CAN interface hardware, the X-Analyser can be used for analysing CAN systems. X-Analyser is both powerful and easy to use, and is ideal for CAN beginners and experts alike, in automotive and industrial automation systems.
The X-Analyser can be used to display and generate network traffic. It can also be used to simulate simple CAN devices. X-Analyser has been designed to work on a PC platform, under Windows 95, 98, NT, ME or 2000.
A variety of hardware interfaces are available to enable analysis of one network or two networks simultaneously. Often, PC software comprises of a set of tools hidden away within obscure menu structures. The design philosophy for the X-Analyser has always been to make it as easy as possible to use, and to provide the main features in a single window, rather than multiple windows, making it simpler to use within restricted environments.

The LIN option extends the functionality of X-Analyser from CAN systems, through to LIN devices and systems. Up to eight LIN networks may be monitored simultaneously via the LINterface hardware interface. This provides a fully integrated CAN/LIN tool which enables the user to diagnose from one LIN device, through to complex systems using CAN and LIN gateways.
