OmiScope has three modules that define its function and therefore it can be bought as three separate functions or as a complete unit comprising all three functional modules:

PDA2100A Engine Analyzer

The PDA2100A Engine Analyzer, with 4 channel lab scope, is a complete hand-held engine and ignition analyzer. It provides full electronic (DIS) and conventional ignition system waveform displays; as well as bar-graphs and histographs. Automatic cylinder efficiency, cranking and charging tests are also included.

The standard kit includes all the hardware and leads for:

• 4 channel lab scope
• 4 channel/6 panel digital multimeter
• 8 cylinder ignition scope; raster, parade, and single cylinder
• 8 cylinder ignition meter; bargraphs and histographs
• Cranking and Charging test
• Cylinder efficiency test
• Milliamp probe for low current inductive testing

Plus, you can record and replay any signal displayed on the PDA's high-resolution screen, and print directly to a printer or upload to a PC.

The PDA2100A comes complete with carrying case, scope leads, conventional, DIS and GM/HEI ignition probes, AMP probe,12V battery adapter, AC adapter, printer interface and manual.

As with every PDA tool, all functions are field upgradable through PCMCIA (memory cards); kiss obsolescence good-bye..

The PDA2095 Hand Held Ignition Analyzer is the most affordable package available for full electronic (DIS) and conventional ignition analysis. It provides many of the functions of the PDA2100A but includes only a single channel lab scope.

With the PDA2095 you get:

• 8 cylinder ignition scope; raster, parade, and single cylinder
• 8 cylinder ignition meter; bargraphs and histographs
• Single channel lab scope and digital meter
• Preset sensor autometers
• Field upgradability to PDA2100A
• Cylinder efficiency test
• Plus all the record, playback and reporting functions

Like all PDA tools, the PDA2095 comes with a rechargeable battery pack, good for 4 hours and rechargeable in 1 hour, and an A/C wall adapter. Additionally there is an optional 12V vehicle battery adapter.

The PDA2095 is an excellent starter tool for electronic ignition (DIS) troubleshooting and repair.

4 Channel engine Lab scope

The PDA2050 and PDA2050A Engine Scope is the only lab scope designed specifically for the automotive repair market. It is not an electronics lab scope adapted to the repair shop, but instead, a powerful underhood tool developed exclusively for modern computer controlled vehicles and the technicians who service and repair them.

Easy to use. The PDA2050A includes:

• 4 channel automotive lab scope - with 4 simultaneous sampling analog to digital converters
• Single cylinder ignition scope - with displays up to 45kV for both conventional and DIS (PDA2050A only)

The PDA2050 is identical to the PDA2050A , but without the single cylinder ignition scope function. As with all PDA tools, included is a utility that lets you use many of your existing measurement probes, like temperature, vacuum, pressure and milliamps, with the lab scope and meter functions. This provides even more value at no additional cost.
