Omitec, manufacturers of high performance diagnostics equipment are soon to release Version 14 Software to their range of OmiScan (handset based) and OmiPro (PC Based) scan tools. Version 14 features software application updates to: BMW, Mercedes, Renault, and Vauxhall.
On the Renault application additional Engine Management (EMS) coverage has been added on both petrol and diesel engines.
The existing broad coverage of BMW vehicles has been updated to include wider PDC applications as well as more coverage on Auto-Transmission systems for more recent models. There is also further coverage on service reset for BMW on both ‘Annual Distance Reset’ and ‘Battery Replacement’.
Mercedes now has additional EMS coverage on both petrol and diesel engines as well as widely increased capacity on Airbag/SRS. Coverage on Traction Control/ABS has also been extended as well as vast expansion to coverage on Climate/Heating Controls as well as additional service reset capabilities.
