Job Title: Diagnostics Area Sales Manager

Position in the organisation
Scope of the job
• Managing a defined area and all sales activity within this area, specifically:
• Manage reporting process to give visibility of activity and performance
• Generating new business and actively growing existing business
• Developing and managing new independent distributors, if applicable
• Supporting National Account customers and their outlets, if applicable
• Demonstrating product to the trade and other professionals
• Keeping all customers up to date with new products and offers
• Following up sales leads and assist in the preparation of quotes where necessary
• Maintaining accurate records of activity i.e. Visit Reports, Sales Lead and feedback etc
• Working as part of a close knit team
• Working away from home as required
• Any other tasks deemed appropriate to the role
Dimensions and limits of Authority
Under the direction of the UK Sales Director he/she will be responsible for the Sales Management in the specific area.
Reporting
• Weekly Report (to UK Sales Director) detailing activities and any associated risks and opportunities.

Clean driving licence and be prepared to work at different locations
Ability to work under pressure and achieve exacting targets
Qualifications
Commercial related or Business Studies at HND/HNC or higher.
Experience
• A minimum of 2 years experience in similar role
• Automotive experience preferred with an understanding of vehicle electronics and emissions
• Some hands-on technical experience is desirable, i.e. vehicle technician
Measurement
• Delivery of set tasks on time
• Product Sales performance against target
